This is appealling on so many levels. It offers a nostalgic warmth, a format that shows the tea card artwork more effectively than the originals, and a slice of social history. Knowler has chosen a dozen of the best of the 56 sets of cards published by Brooke Bond in the second half of the 20th century. I so liked this that I gave copies to two members of my family for Christmas. ( )
